The Separate è un progetto del celebre produttore/ingegnere Rob Kirwan, che ha recentemente lavorato con artisti del calibro di PJ Harvey, Glasvegas e The Horrors, Keith Cullen, e Fiona Brice, violinista dei Placebo tra l’altro.
Cullen ha deciso di registrare un album di cover (che prende il nome appunto di Orchestral Variation V.01) dei suoi brani preferiti di artisti che ama e ammira.
Presenti anche brani di The Specials, The Ramones, The Smiths e Talking Heads.
