Si è concluso da poco il primo concerto del 360 Tour 2011 in Sud Africa, a Johannesburg (FNB Stadium).
Alcune novità ci sono state durante il nuovo concerto degli U2 di stasera. La prima l’assenza come canzone intro di ‘The Return of Stingray Guitar’ insieme a ‘Space oddity’ di David Bowie che hanno accompagnato la band in tutto il tour, sostituita da un remix di ‘Get on Your Boots’ realizzato insieme al Soweto Gospel Choir. Durante ‘I Still Haven’t Found’ invece è salito sul palco insieme alla band Hugh Masekela mentre durante ‘Pride‘ il testo è stato in parte modificato per rendere un tributo a Nelson Mandela.
Adesso il prossimo concerto della band sarà venerdì 18 febbraio presso il Cape Town Stadium di Città del Capo. Ulteriori aggioramenti sul concerto saranno pubblicati nelle prossime ore.
